We want to thank everyone for their help in planning this year’s parade, to those who attended and especially to our Veterans. Without them, this day would not be possible. Our thanks to those businesses along the parade route who so graciously allow us to disrupt their business day. We also want to thank the City of Apache Junction, the AJPD, Parks and Rec and Public Works for the work they do for the parade, the city of Apache Junction truly supports our Veterans.

Freedom is not free!

2011 Parade Information

The Apache Junction Veterans Day Parade committee wants to thank everyone who participated in and came out to enjoy the 2011 parade.  It was a tremendous success and we are pleased with the number of people who came out this year.

The committee is made up of volunteers who meet once a month starting to plan for the next parade and we are always looking for people to join in.  “Many hands make light work!”

Can you give a hour a month and a few hours on Veterans Day to help?  Please e-mail the committee [click here] and become an important part of this annual event.

We meet the first Wednesday of each month from March through parade day (November 11th).  The host post for the 2012 parade will be announced shortly so please check back.

Be proud!  Help honor Veterans by volunteering!

Thank You

Bob Stark
